Army Men: RTS was developed by Pandemic Studios. It is available for PlayStation 2, Microsoft Windows, and GameCube. The game’s mechanics require the acquisition and extraction of two resources to construct structures, vehicles, and soldiers: plastic and electricity. Plastic is extracted from toys, such as Frisbees and dog bowls, and placed on various levels, including a front yard, kitchen counter, and basement. A lump of plastic remains after a plastic object is destroyed. The dump truck, which collects plastic and electricity, vacuums it. Toasters, batteries and walkie talkies generate electricity. The construction and upgrade of many buildings and some soldiers are contingent upon the building of certain buildings.
