Nick All-Stars is adding a Teenage Robot, Wallaby, and Jimmy Neutron’s Father To Roster
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl has expanded its character roster. A new trailer has been posted to IGN revealing that Jenny “XJ-9”, Wakeman, from My Life as a Teenage Robot will be joining the game as DLC. She’s not the only character joining the game. Hugh Neutron Jimmy Neutron and Rocko Rocko’s Modern Life will also join the game later in the year. The characters will all launch with custom costumes and stages that are based on their shows.
The announcement video contains about 20 seconds of Jenny’s gameplay. However, the developers also shared Jenny’s novelist and a character walkthrough that provides more detailed gameplay. Her move set is similar to those in Super Smash Bros. includes a Samus-style Samus-style homing rocket and a Mega Man-style uppercut. Hugh Neutron will be released sometime in the summer and Rocko will be released sometime in the fall. This supports October’s Datamine, which hinted at characters from their franchises.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl released additional costumes and characters after launch. However, this is the first paid DLC. The Jenny Brawler Pack, which includes the character, costumes, and stage, costs $4.99. The Universe Pack Season Pass, which will include all three characters, costs $11.99. These DLC announcements come with a patch for the game. This includes adjustments to nine playable characters as well as general bug fixes.
The internet will be thrilled about Hugh Neutron’s meme potential, but it is interesting to see him before his son, who is the main character in the show. The developers are still supportive of the game and it is not surprising that we will see Jimmy, Timmy Turner, from The Fairly Odd Parents, or other characters seemingly forgotten in an update.
