Overview Ganryu 2
Musashi, after his win against Kojiro, decided to meditate and attempt art in the region of Hokkaido. One of his meditations was interrupted by a spirit who said to him: “Miyamoto, our fight has not ended, I am waiting for your help to end our fight once for all!” Your insult will be paid by all of Japan! “I’m waiting for you Miyamoto Musashi!” Musashi does not doubt that the voice was the Sasaki Koojiro’s. His body was destroyed, but his spirit remained and his intentions were evil. Miyamoto Musashi realized that he had to travel from Japan’s north to south to reach Ganryu-Jima where he defeated Sasaki Kojiro to fight again and free the spirit of Kojiro forever.
Ganryu 2 is an excellent 2D platformer! This is the sequel of the Ganryu game VISCO made back in 1999 on NEOGEO. The universe is set in feudal Japan, inspired strongly by Takezo Musashi’s adventures. You can play as Miyamoto Musashi to travel from the north to the south through a fantasy Japan of the 17th century, where everything took place between Musashi (Kojiro) and Ganryu-Jima. Through levels, collect Hanafuda Cards.
