The House of the Dead 2 video game is Horror, Shooter. House of the Dead 2 has a light rail gun. The auto-reload function allows the player to aim their gun offscreen and reload without having to pull the trigger.
The players must fight their way past zombies, monsters, and more while trying to save civilians who are being attacked.
The health bar is shown by the torches on the bottom screen. It is lost when an enemy shoots a player or is struck by a zombie. Rescue civilians, and find first aid kits in barrels or crates to gain bonus health.
The first game also has a branching system, which allows the player to choose different paths in every stage depending on their actions.
