Epic Universe Opening Date Announced for May 2025
Universal Orlando Resort has officially revealed the opening date for its long-awaited fourth theme park, Epic Universe. Set to open on May 22, 2025, this massive addition to Universal’s property is expected to be its biggest and most ambitious project to date.
Originally expected to open in late 2025, the earlier spring launch surprised many fans. The timing, during a typically slower season for theme parks, allows Universal to draw in crowds before the summer rush.
Ticket sales for Epic Universe are currently in their first phase. Right now, visitors can purchase multi-day packages that include access to the new park. These packages range from three to five days, with an extra day specifically for Epic Universe. Single-day tickets will only be available to Annual Passholders, starting October 24, 2024. More ticket options, such as Express passes, will be announced later.
Hotel reservations are also open. Visitors can begin booking rooms at the Universal Helios Grand Hotel, which overlooks Epic Universe and has its own private entrance. Reservations at value resorts near the park, Stella Nova and Terra Luna, are also available, with their doors opening in early 2025.
