World of Warcraft Reveals New Rewards for Plunderstorm’s Return
World of Warcraft has announced new rewards for the return of the Plunderstorm game mode, including pets, mounts, and cosmetic ensembles. These rewards will be available through the new Plunderstore, which replaces the old Renown track, offering players more freedom in choosing their desired items.
First introduced in Patch 10.2.6 of the Dragonflight expansion, Plunderstorm is a battle royale PvP mode where up to 60 players compete in Arathi Basin, using class-inspired spells and strategies to defeat opponents. The mode was popular during its initial run, and after player demand, Blizzard is bringing it back with new pirate-themed rewards. Some of these include the Hooktalon and Plunderlord’s Midnight Crocolisk mounts, Sparklesnap and Parley battle pets, and the Plunderlord’s Stormridden Finery transmog ensemble. These items are dark recolors of previous Renown rewards.
Additionally, Blizzard is introducing a new Twitch Drops campaign. Players who link their Twitch and Battle.net accounts and watch up to four hours of World of Warcraft content on Twitch will unlock the Coward’s Azure Target back piece. The Twitch Drops event will run from January 14 to February 4.
With the Plunderstore and the return of Plunderstorm, players have plenty to look forward to in World of Warcraft.
