Alien: Isolation Sequel Officially Announced for 10th Anniversary
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Alien: Isolation, Creative Assembly’s Creative Director, Al Hope, has officially announced that a long-awaited sequel is in the works.
When Alien: Isolation first launched, it quickly became a fan-favorite, praised for its intense atmosphere and faithfulness to the 1979 Alien film. However, despite critical acclaim and a 93% rating from many reviewers, the game struggled commercially, leading to doubts about a sequel.
In a message to fans, Hope reflected on the journey: “We wanted to capture the terror and essence of the original movie, and it’s been incredible to witness the passion of players worldwide.”
While no release date has been shared yet, Hope confirmed that the sequel is currently in early development. This announcement has already been endorsed by Creative Assembly, reigniting excitement among fans.
