Apex Legends players desire Warzone 2 anti-cheat features.
Cheating has long been an issue in all video games and it remains hard for developers to combat it effectively. Apex Legends players in Season 16 called for improvements to current anti-cheat measures; unfortunately these appeals went without result.
Respawn Entertainment hopes anti-cheat systems can protect both casual and ranked matches from being undermined by cheats in Season 17’s start up phase.
Warzone 2’s anti-cheat received numerous improvements this April, such as rendering players immune when encountering cheaters – something Apex Legends fans want implemented into the battle royale to improve the experience and safeguard players.
Reddit user pt_picasso suggested Respawn Entertainment take inspiration from Ricochet in order to implement deterrents that make cheats useless against genuine players in Apex Legends.
Though current measures continue to ban thousands of hackers daily, more must be done. Warzone 2 features some innovative solutions designed to stop them gaining an advantage; yet many still slip through our grasps.
One fan has come up with another way of dealing with repeat offenders without taking away weapons: getting their ranks reset daily. We would only see confused and unhappy players complaining here about it; in addition, this might prevent them from dropping into ranked matches due to level requirements and preclude the need for rank resets as often.
There’s every possibility Respawn Entertainment could implement new anti-cheat measures into Apex Legends that would give fans of this popular battle royale title an equal playing experience.
