The game Beholder is not a regular project. Behind the elegant but straightforward picture is a powerful story that will make even the most inept gamer nervous.
The plot centres on a world ruled by a totalitarian regime. Interesting fact: the creators of this product were inspired by George Orwell and Aldous Huxley. The player is acting as the manager of an apartment complex that has recently received a new location. This makes it anti-utopian. He is responsible for monitoring the residents and completing his work on time. The employer is the Government.
As you move, the “supervisor”, who lives in the same apartment block as his family, becomes more familiar with the residents and reveals the exciting details and problems of their lives. The player must decide whether to obey the rules or ignore them to achieve the highest goal.
