It is no secret that Wesley Snipes’ Blade trilogy doesn’t receive the respect it deserves for its contribution to Disney’s huge success with the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Shanghai and The Legend Of The Ten Rings are two of the 25 MCU movies. Together they form one huge (and very profitable) universe of super-heroes. The MCU was launched with 2008’s Iron Man. But, could Marvel have ever taken a chance on Tony Stark if there hadn’t been enough interest in such action on the big screen from previous comic books?

Fans like to thank Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy, Fox X-Men films and Fox X-Men films because they laid the foundation for the MCU. Everyone would be a fool to say thank you.DaredevilOrThe Fantastic FourThese films are obviously shite, but they do allow being entertaining. The fact that Spidey, Wolverine and the rest of Xavier’s school get all the credit is completely ignored. Bladen was the first… it was a big hit.
