Activision has published Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, a first-person shooter video game.
Advanced Warfare is presented in a first-person shooter perspective, just like other Call of Duty titles. Advanced Warfare is different from other installments in that it does not have a traditional HUD (heads-up display) and instead relays all information to the player via holographic projections of the weapon. Other than the addition of ‘Exo’ movements, gunplay is unchanged. The Exoskeleton can perform these Exo movements, including sky jumping, boost, and dash. This is the first Call of Duty game to allow players to choose between conventional weaponry types. The game has regular firearms but uses laser and directed energy weapons, each of which has its attributes. Exo movements are not the only feature of the game. Exo Cloak allows players to become transparent and stealthy for a time.
Campaign
Jack Mitchell is the only playable character in the campaign. This contrasts the previous Call of Duty games with many characters. The campaign uses pre-rendered scenes from Call of Duty: Black Ops II to help with the story. Each mission gives the player several upgrade points, which can be used for weapons or the Exo suit. You can upgrade your detection, armor, resistance, and tactical abilities as well as a sprint, recoil and flinch, relo, ad, and quick aim. To upgrade the entire Exo upgrade system, you will need 22 points. The player’s performance in missions determines the number of points they receive. You can earn extra points by completing side missions, such as collecting the game’s collectible “Intel.” You can switch between different types of grenades. Each one has distinctly different abilities.
