Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 players express concerns about possible lack of distinctive weaponry
In the past, throughout the history of the series Call of Duty games have included a wide range of guns for players to use in multiplayer games. If it’s a bolt-spraying rifle or an incredibly strong sniper rifle, there were always elements of the arsenal which end in a distinct position from the rest of the pack.
With the focus shifting to the release of Modern Warfare 3 Players have been debating what characters are likely to be killed in the course of the solo-player story. However, there are some who aren’t satisfied with the UI layout, which is set to be featured within Sledgehammer Games’ latest project.
A recent subject of discussion for fans concerns Modern Warfare 3’s arsenal of weapons. While plenty of options are likely to be featured on the arsenal Players are concerned over the possibility of a shortage of options unique to every category.
Do you think Modern Warfare 3 have enough distinct weaponry?
While the spotlight shifts towards the launch of beta of the game, user unknown276 has taken to Reddit to voice their worries they’ll find that the choices of Modern Warfare 3 weaponry won’t make you feel distinctive enough.
In their article in their post, they wrote: “I worry that having the vast array of guns to pick from in MW3 makes them appear less original and dull.” Others seem to be of the opinion that it’s a legitimate concern and think a modification that was made after Modern Warfare 2 was released is the reason behind the issue. Another player said: “MW2 introduced the gun “families” which made several guns very identical.”
But there are those who believe Sledgehammer Games will be able provide them with unique possibilities when designing a new loadout. A member of this group declared: “I agree that MW2’s arsenal is boring however I believe it’s going to improve by the time you play Modern Warfare 3. We’ll see.”
With all of Modern Warfare 2’s weapons arsenal expected to appear with Modern Warfare 3, alongside the return of a classic weapon that players will not be left with a lack of choices in the launch of the game in November. The only thing to do is wait for the game to launch and determine if there’s some weapons that are different in comparison to the other weapons in the weapons arsenal.
