Classic Tracks Are Coming To ‘Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’ Next Week

Mario Kart8 Deluxe has been a timeless classic. The Nintendo Switch edition of the game was launched in 2017. It still holds the top spot on sales charts today. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe was the most popular Switch game, having sold 45 million copies as of March 2018.

Nintendo previously announced the ‘Booster Pass’ DLC, which included 48 of its classic tracks. These tracks will be released in six waves. Wave one was released on March 18, and wave two is expected to arrive next week, on August 4. Let’s-a go!

This wave will feature eight new tracks, just like wave 1. They’re not new, but they’re still classic tracks. Mario Kart8 Deluxe loves them, so we’re happy with the result. We have the Turnip Cup, which consists of Kalimari Desert(N64), Mario Circuit 3 (3SNES), Waluigi Pinball DS) and New York Minute.

The Propeller Cup will now allow you to enter. It will include Sydney Sprint (Tour), Mushroom Gore (Wii), Snow Land, and, perhaps most importantly, a new course called Sky-High Sundae. This new addition will be available for Mario Kart Tour later.

This means those who purchased the Booster Pass still have four wave drops to look forward to. These should be over by 2023. Wave three could be released in the autumn/winter, given the gap of five months between waves one and 2. Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers can access the new courses as soon as they are released.
