Denuvo launches Switch Emulator Protection at the Behest Of Publishing Partners
Denuvo by Irdeto is a well-known PC gaming DRM company. It makes anti-piracy software Denuvo. They have created Nintendo Switch Emulator Protection, a product that fights against Switch piracy. This product aims to stop console/handheld hybrid games from being copied on PC.
Denuvo by Irdeto announced the Nintendo Switch Emulator Protect on its website. This protection is meant to stop piracy and protect Switch games from being emulated onto PCs. People often do this to better framerates or resolutions than the Switch can offer natively.
Denuvo recognizes that piracy is a serious problem in the gaming industry. We work closely with industry players to ensure they have the most up-to-date protection technology. Reinhard Blaukovitsch, Denuvo by Irdeto’s Managing Director, stated that the team was excited to offer a solution to the problem of Nintendo Switch pirates.

Denovo by Irdeto stated to Kotaku that the company has not partnered with Nintendo. Instead, it created the Nintendo Switch Emulator Protect at the request of third-party partners but could not reveal who due to NDAs.
Denuvo’s tendency to slow down the performance of PC games is something that has been noted by both users and developers. This has caused users and developers to abandon its anti-piracy measures to improve the game’s performance. In a statement to Kotaku, Denuvo denied that this was the case.
