In the game Factorio, you construct and manage factories. Resources will be mined, technologies will be researched, infrastructure will be built, production will be automated, and adversaries will be faced. You will initially have to cut down trees, mine ores, and manually build mechanical arms and transport belts, but you can quickly grow into a major industrial force with massive solar fields, oil refining and cracking, and the production and use of construction and logistic robots to meet your resource demands.
However, the locals do not approve of this extensive use of the planet’s resources, so you will need to be ready to defend your machine empire and yourself.
