GTA 6 may take longer to come out than fans expected.
Unfortunately, fans still waiting patiently for Grand Theft Auto V might be disappointed to learn it may not arrive as soon as everyone anticipated. With one trailer dropping every four days since 2013, we had reason to believe GTA V would arrive sooner but sadly, that has yet to occur.
Since Rockstar Games announced GTA VI is in development (often simply called by its initials, GTA), we’ve probably not gone a week without someone insider throwing out potential dates when its trailer may be revealed. Most recently, it was suggested it could happen sometime within three weeks (prior to 17 May – coincidently enough, that’s when Rockstar parent company Take-Two Interactive hosts their Q4 2023 earnings conference call and gives ample time for discussion).
As exciting as it might be to imagine GTA VI trailer could soon arrive, chances are it won’t. According to ComicBook, 17 September marks GTA V’s 10 year anniversary which also falls on a Sunday (16 October in this case). Some speculate this might indicate a pattern whereby Red Dead Redemption 2 teased first appeared as well – maybe this will mean they release GTA VI’s teaser trailer on another Sunday? Of course this speculation might stretch too far but just bear with me for now if this theory comes true or not
Now is all just speculation; at this stage we should expect anything could come on any random day that doesn’t correlate to anything specific on Rockstar or Take-Two calendars – until then all we can do is wait patiently and remain chill.
