Many large creatures are threatening the human base. Humanity will suffer a great loss if they don’t attack you in every way possible.
Giant creatures living below the earth threaten human civilization’s last vestiges. To stop this alien threat, you must manage powerful mechs from the future. Every attempt to save the world is a turn-based strategy game by the creators of FLL. Many of the same design principles are used in Into the Breach. You can play with very few numbers and make the mechanics clear to the player. Multiple systems that, while simple, interconnect with each other to create a more complex experience.
You are a time hopper squad that pilots advanced mechs to defeat the bug-like menace. You will be able to see the actions of the aliens as they move each turn. You are responsible for repositioning the aliens to save the civilian population or killing them. You can also shoot them to cause damage.
Like FTL, the gameplay basics are simple. It is often more difficult to put them into practice.
Features of Into the Breach
- Protect the Cities: Your mechs will be powered by civil buildings. Watch your fire as you defend them from the Vek!
- Perfect your strategy: All enemy attacks can be telegraphed using minimal, turn-based combat. You can analyze the seizure of your opponent and devise the ideal counter for every turn.
- Build the UltimateMech: Discover powerful new weapons and unique pilots to combat the Vek invasion on Corporate-Nation islands.
- Another Chance: Failure is not possible. Send help through time to save another timeline if you’re defeated.
