Resident Evil 4 Remake Voice Control Challenge Run Streamer Bark Orders at Leon
Late last month, the remake of Resident Evil 4 finally hit stores – providing horror game enthusiasts with a perfect opportunity to turn down the lights and enjoy some quality time.
Some brave fans have simply set the game to its highest difficulty setting, chosen their weapon of choice and entered into intense combat, but others are already looking for creative ways to spice up their playthroughs.

Larxa, a Twitch personality, has no problem taking on games with unconventional controls; her latest Resi Remake playthrough sees her tackle the game using voice controls.
She has used this strategy successfully in Elden Ring, defeating not only the game with her dulcet tones but also Malenia after an intense and verbalized battle.
Setting up a Resi-focused profile using the same recognition software used during her runs through Elden Ring was manageable, but Resident Evil is a shooter so who knows how it’ll go?
Larxa eventually felt confident shooting her way through cultists with aim-assisted shots activated by the ‘pang’ command she’d set up as an easy way to alert Leon when to fire away. Despite some initial difficulties, Larxa eventually got used to moving around and shooting as they came at her target.
Larxa recently streamed her run, showing the ideal strategy for voice control players: tactical running away from enemies who are deadly in close quarters combat. Despite using up all her ammo, Larxa managed to defeat El Gigante!
That said, if she can display even half the same intensity she displayed during her verbal attacks against Elden Ring, there’s a good chance this streamer’s run will be fruitful as well.
