Epic Games announced today that the Fortnite RoboCop partnership is now in place. The battle royale will see the robot officer get its own outfit. It will be available in the in-game store later today. You can also ride a mini ED-209 and its emote as well as a few cosmetics based on the movies.

RoboCop arrives at the store today, May 13, at 5 p.m. PST/8 p.m. ET. Unfortunately, you cannot unlock the skin or other cosmetic items. It’s not possible. Instead, it’s similar to past collaborations, from Assassin’s Creed to the music-reactive Coachella outfits. RoboCop’s arrival includes LEG-209 back bling. This is a leg taken from the LEG-209 robotic arm first seen in the original movie. You can also use the leg as a pickaxe if you buy the bundle. Both the pickaxe and back bling versions are included.

There is also an emote, which is a small ED-209 that you can ride. Although it’s not a vehicle but an emote, it is a fun gag.

Although the Fortnite RoboCop collaboration was a surprise (can’t wait for RoboCop to meet Harley Quinn and Jinx), it’s not the first. RoboCop was a fully-playable character that arrived in Mortal Kombat 11 in 2020. This made RoboCop a great choice for Terminator. Fortnite received Sarah Connor and T-800 from Terminator a while back, so you can now play both franchises in a completely different digital universe.
