“Silent Hill 2” Remake Leak Shows New Gameplay Perspective And Nurse

Silent Hill is a franchise unlike any other. Something is in the making. In July, a teaser trailer leaked suggesting Konami was planning a reboot. Fans were convinced that a complete reveal might be at the Tokyo Games Show. After screenshots were leaked online earlier in the year, it seemed that Bloober Team might also be working on Silent Hill. Now it looks like this could be a remake.

The latest leak suggests that the Bloober Team is working on a Silent Hill 2. Twitter user alej135 shared the screenshots via The_marmolade. Although they are blurry and do not give away much, the character is similar to Silent Hill II’s James Sunderland.

Eurogamer reported that the best thing about the screenshots is the points of view. Silent Hill2 was played in third-person, but the angle used was fixed. The screenshots, however, seem to reflect the current over-the-shoulder view.

These screenshots are not verified. Please take this information with a grain of salt until Konami or Bloober Team confirms it. Dust Golem leaked the screenshots and noted that they were real but not close to the final product. These screenshots were taken from an internal demo by Bloober before being greenlit. Just keep crossing your fingers.
