Battle royale games have been the leader in multiplayer gaming for the past four years. The BR genre is a big business, regardless of its many players or viewers on platforms like YouTube and Twitch. It’s at its peak or full of “dead” games, depending on who you ask. It doesn’t matter where you are; the genre’s variety has resulted in imitators and games which couldn’t meet the same standards. Some games have fallen by the wayside.
This isn’t a comprehensive list of all battle royale games that have been forgotten, but it includes some bigger flops and some that should have been done better. None of the names mentioned here were meant to be as good as Fortnite, PUBG, and other similar games.
