World of Warcraft: Tier 20 Recolored Sets Found On the PTR

The next World of Warcraft patch has hit the PTR this week, and so the data miners have gone to work finding all the hidden spells and new items added into the build.

Data miners discovered recolored versions of the tier-20 tier Mythic raid set intended for the Tomb of Sargeras raid within the Legion expansion.

While we know legion Timewalking has been introduced with additional Mythic+ support, these sets are not intended to reward dungeons.

Further data hints at the return of the beloved Mage Tower, a solo challenge introduced around the same time as the Tomb of Sargeras raid.

The Tier 20 sets were inspired by the original tier 6 designs released during The Burning Crusade’s Black Temple raid. This was where players faced the legendary Illidan Stormrage.

These sets are some of the most famous in World of Warcraft’s history, and players would love another Mythic version.

These sets could also be linked to a Keystone Master achievement that allows you to complete all Legion dungeons at a certain level.

Blizzard has done a fantastic job listening to players’ feedback about this patch and will give players new cosmetic items to work towards to encourage more players to come back and take part in the new content.

The sets were originally found by Wowhead, who does a great job mining new content on the PTR.

These sets have not been officially announced for World of Warcraft. There has also been no release date. Keep an eye on the PTR cycle for updates.
