Sega originally published Jet Set Radio in 2000. It is an action game the player controls one of the gangs of graffiti-tagging skaters. The player must navigate a stage that is open to 3D and tag all graffiti spots within the area. They must also evade the authorities who follow them on foot and by helicopter. Vice says Jet Set Radio is not about the “flexibility of good skating, the joy of motion, and skill… but the game emphasizes a sense of youthful rebellion.”
