Resident Evil 4 Remake Mod – Play as Wesker!
At the end of last week, Resident Evil 4: Remake is set to hit stores – making it the perfect time for horror game enthusiasts to put the lights down and enjoy some thrilling entertainment.
Some brave fans have set the game to its highest difficulty setting and selected their favorite weapon; others, however, are already modding it just like they did with its demo version.
Hardcore horror fans have already brought Keanu Reeves, Thomas the Tank Engine and even some pandas to Resi 4, but if you’re impatiently waiting for Ada Wong Separate Ways content to be added into the game, a mod may be worth taking a look at.

Kira5z created the mod ‘Wesker Replacing Leon and Glasses’, which can be found here. Some of their previous projects include bringing Resi 4’s outfits into Resident Evil 2 remake and adding topless Kylo Ren to Knights of the Old Republic II.
This time around, Capcom has followed their previous efforts and made Albert Wesker a playable protagonist in its latest remake. CEO Yoshihiro Harada revealed: “After what I achieved with RE2, I would be disappointed if we didn’t bring Wesker back for this fourth reimagining – especially since he’s already included.”
Kira5z revealed that replacing Leon with the former captain of Raccoon City Police Department’s S.T.A.R.S unit proved more challenging than expected, necessitating “countless hours” of troubleshooting and relearning mechanics.
Thankfully, they’ve managed to release a version that, while having some slightly unnatural-looking facial animations, works quite well overall and even features some stunning shades.
Kira5z appears to have big plans for their Albert in the future, including potential additions like alternate outfits and gloves so his hands won’t get too cold.
