Ark: Survival Ascended is set for release on PC, Xbox Series X/S and PS5 by August 2023. It features The Island, Survival of the Fittest and non-canon DLC maps which will be added over time.

PC and Xbox Series S/X users will only be able to purchase the remaster through the ARK Respawned bundle, priced at $49.99 or your regional equivalent and including both Ark: Survival Ascended and Ark 2, its highly anticipated sequel.

PS5 users can purchase ARK: Survival Ascended as a standalone product when it launches in August 2023 for $39.99 or your regional equivalent.

Ark: Survival Ascended’s expansion packs will be sold separately across all platforms, marking the next steps on Ark: Survival Evolved’s 2023 roadmap.

The Explorer’s Pass costs $19.99 or your regional equivalent and includes access to Scorched Earth, Aberration (Q4 2023), and Extinction (Q1 2024).

The Genesis Pass offers the same price as its individual components – Genesis Part 1 (Q1 2024) and Genesis Part 2 (Q2 2024).

In Q4 2023, ARK: Survival Ascended is getting a canonical story DLC pack that adds four new creatures.

In collaboration with Overwolf, cross-platform modding is also planned for the remaster; this includes support for vetted premium mods whose optional price is set by their authors.

Survival of the Fittest will also be featured on Ark: Survival Evolved’s 2023 roadmap, where it will be integrated as a distinct and fully supported game mode within the remaster.

“Titanium will have its own dedicated team that will continue to strive for further gameplay improvements, mechanical perfections, quality of life enhancements, maps, and balance adjustments,” according to a company statement.
