Buffy The Vampire Slayer new series is revealed with cast members from the original returning
Buffy The Vampire Slayeris returning, and will be accompanied by an all-new Audible show that focuses on Spike the vampire, who is Big Bad himself, Spike the vampire.
The show will premiere in the Audible app later this month and will feature a number of returning actors from the television show. It will feature James Marsters, Charisma Carpenter, Anthony Head, Juliet Landau, Emma Caulfield Ford, Amber Benson, James Charles Leary and Danny Strong.
It’s called Slayers The Titled Slayers: A Buffyverse Story, the series will begin 20 years post-climax the series Buffy The Vampire Slayer The show will follow Spike as he travels through Los Angeles, where he encounters a young slayer that he is required to guard. In the course of his adventure, he will find him confronting with a new version of his previous love, Drusilla.
James Marsters, who played Spike in the series’ first season and has now reprised his character, talked about his enthusiasm for the show, saying: “I’m ecstatic to be back with my dear friends for this next chapter in the Buffyverse, as we take listeners on a familiar but unexpected journey chock full of horror, passion and mischief … I’m excited for old and new fans to experience this beloved world of vampire slaying like never before, brought to life through immersive audio storytelling.”
The show’s description says: ” Slayers: A Buffyverse Story offers a fresh, dynamic take on a cult-classic that takes listeners on a fun and nostalgic ride … The all-star cast reprising beloved roles, as well as newcomers, bring to life a storyline that will entertain fans of the original series and pull in first-time Sunnydale visitors.”
Although Buffy isn’t going to be starring in the show the show has enough powerhouse stars to keep those who have been fans for a long time.
