CIVILIZATION 6 CONSOLE COMMANDS AND CHEATS
Civilization6 continues to thrive five years later. Tens of thousands of players continue to play in the Frontier Pass, where they battle AI and one another. You may want to learn console commands or cheats, no matter how experienced or novice you are.
Civilization 6’s cheats and console commands have been difficult to find since launch. You will need to play the game according to its rules. The title does not have the most extensive offerings. You can still enjoy technical forbidden power if you are willing to accept it.
Civ 6 Console Commands
To activate Civilization 6’s console commands or cheats on PC, you will need to go to X:DocumentsMy GamesSid Meier’s Civilization VI and then open AppOptions.txt with Notepad. Find the EnableDebugMenu0 line and change it to 1.
You should locate the console by pressing the tilde key when you enter any game. The small buttons located in the upper-left corner allow you to access three menus. The majority of the options you have will show statistics about your current game. However, you won’t see any information about enemy armies that might threaten your precious resources.
However, the middle button will open the debug menu. This will give you access to a slider which allows you to adjust the time of the day. This can be helpful if you want to use a specific lighting type in your screenshots.
Only two Civilization console commands or cheats seem to work, and they both serve the same purpose – uncovering a map.
- Reveal all/Explore all – This allows you to see the entire map in-game.
There aren’t any more juicier options than the ones that increase your resources or allow you to spawn units in desperate situations. You’ll have to stick to the rules. However, it could be a good idea to see what your opponents are doing.
