Cyberpunk 2077’s major update for free 2.0 is scheduled to be released the week following, CDPR confirms
We’ve all been eagerly awaiting. Cyberpunk 2077’s coming Update 2.0 will arrive this week, and it’s expected to be a total super-hit.
CD Projekt Red did hint the possibility that Update 2.0 was coming out prior to Phantom Liberty. In case you haven’t heard the announcement was made prior to that some of the latest game mechanics and Quality of Life updates that were included within Phantom Liberty would also be included in the core Cyberpunk 2077 game as part of the game’s free Update 2.0.
It’s official, the launch of Phantom Liberty is close to the mark this coming Friday, September 26, exactly, and the announcement of the Update 2.0 date for release was just one more thing to look forward to. In order to put us out of frustration, CD Projekt RED devs have announced that the update will be released within a week, on 21 September.That’s correct, you won’t need to be waiting for long.
The huge update 2.0 will go live in a week’s time, which is the 21st of September, on Thursday. This update will contain a new cyberware design, revamped bonuses, a brand new relic skill tree, a revamped police force vehicles, brand new cars, mount weaponry, vehicular combat and a higher capacity cap on leveling, and “incessant exciting activities’.
The updates were announced during the Gamescom Opening Night Live, with developers also teasing the new combat mechanics that have been revamped and enhanced. As an example, you could use your katana to deflect bullets Katana or your feet to kick and shout at your foes all the way to infinite and over. Maybe not all this far, but you could kick.
There’s plenty of content to keep players entertained. Naturally, if you manage to capture Phantom Libertyon 26 September, you’ll also be able to benefit of a new area, quest line along with a variety of exciting additional side quests. Overall it’s a great time.
