Elden Ring players have been eagerly awaiting the announcement that Shadow of the Erdtree expansion is finally underway, and now can bask in its warm glow.

For those not yet engaged in detective work to uncover clues regarding what the DLC may contain, now is an ideal opportunity to start an intensive training regimen that’ll sharpen your skills before the expansion’s release.

Are you searching for a way to spice up your boss battle preparation sessions and don’t feel confident taking on first-person viewpoint, creating an intimidating build inspired by Skyrim’s Dragonborn, or doing some daring Fortnite dances, MissMikkaa has just launched an intriguing challenge run that might just do the trick!

Do you consider yourself adept enough at Elden Ring to play it ET-style?

The streamer, who has previously attempted to play two versions of the game simultaneously and used a guitar as a controller, began her latest unconventional playthrough during an extended six-hour stream.

Before she started streaming the game, MissMikkaa displayed the controller she would use for streaming, showing off that she planned to try using her index finger first and admitting: “Worst case scenario, I may need to tape my hand or something (to avoid accidentally using other fingers).”

Streamer “Finger Queen” launched into her initial battle against a Tree Sentinel and unfortunately perished soon thereafter.

After spending a couple of hours exploring and becoming comfortable with the control scheme, she fared much better during the run’s initial major boss fight against Margit; after several close calls, she managed to defeat The Fell Omen on her first try as you can see in the clip below.

Next on the kill list was Godrick the Grafted, who proved no more difficult despite possessing an abundance of fingers across multiple hands. MissMikkaa also succumbed to this formidable opponent with her in-game finger weapon she’d adopted shortly after their initial clash of the run.

MissMikkaa’s next major challenge came from Rennala, whom she expected to take two attempts to beat but ultimately needed four due to some difficulty controlling the camera during her second phase.

Finally, MissMikkaa’s run came to a close with multiple battles against a Godskin Noble that she couldn’t quite defeat before calling it quits; however, given her history with this formidable foe, odds are good that this formidable adversary will be easily conquered during her next stream of the run.
