Elder Scrolls 6 multiplayer evidence appears online

Evidence of The Elder Scrolls VI multiplayer mode has surfaced online, potentially marking it as the first feature of its kind for the mainline series.

In 2018, The Elder Scrolls VI was announced with a teaser trailer showing off an aerial view of Tamriel before we were introduced to its logo. Other than that, we’ve heard nothing else about this action RPG from Bethesda – though we know it’s coming, details remain scarce at present.

According to Tech4Gamers, Bethesda Game Studios is searching for an Associate Level Designer. This job posting requires any potential applicant to have “strong familiarity with various open-world multiplayer games.”

One could safely assume this job opening is for Bethesda’s multiplayer game The Elder Scrolls Online (TESO). However, TESO was developed by ZeniMax Online Studios while TESVI was created by Bethesda Game Studios.

Though this job posting could be completely unrelated to The Elder Scrolls VI, it’s easy to connect the dots. If this rumour proves accurate, multiplayer will be featured for the first time in a mainline Elder Scrolls game without using community mods.
What’s more, considering The Elder Scrolls VI was announced five years ago and we haven’t heard much since, it could be that Bethesda is working on an additional multiplayer mode. Time will tell.

It’s essential to remember that all rumours and speculation should be taken with a grain of salt until proven otherwise. With that being said, hopefully Bethesda will provide us with additional The Elder Scrolls VI details and perhaps even a trailer in the near future.
