The Epic Games Store continues its upward trajectory, adding exclusive titles as it strives to challenge Steam’s dominance by giving developers 88% of sales revenue.
Though its initial selection wasn’t particularly large, the Epic Games Store has since grown to boast an impressive selection of exclusives. Fortnite and Unreal Tournament were two top picks – although the latter is no longer actively developed – but there’s much more to discover beyond these two titles.
Epic Games Store exclusives offer a vast selection of third-party titles, both big and small. While titles like Mortal Shell, Hades, and Chivalry 2 have since made their way onto Steam, Alan Wake 2, Shoulders of Giants, and Ooblets remain exclusive to Epic’s storefront. Other titles such as Dead Island 2 and Crime Boss: Rockay City can also be found on the Epic Games Store website or through its tab in the Epic Games Launcher. Many of these exclusives eventually make their way over to Steam after about a year, though A Knight’s Tale appears unlikely to arrive there any time soon.
