Frostpunk is a survival-building game for Microsoft Windows. It was developed by 11-bit studios. The player character begins with a small group (including engineers and workers) and small caches of supplies to help build a city. Players then harvest wood, steel, and food to sustain their society in constant fluctuating temperatures. Citizens may not want to work as hard due to political instability or weather conditions.
You have the option of using laws to regulate productivity in your society, but this could lead to discontent. The laws can allow child labor or force temporary 24-hour shifts. However, they can also improve healthcare, such as prosthetics. The player can build a workshop structure to help him research new technology and search the frozen wilderness for other survivors.
