GTA 5’s massive new update leaves players outraged after incurring significant price increases
GTA V – the Eternal King Of All Things That Will Never Ever Die And Continue To Shake Money From All Until All Are Dead And Gone- has just announced an important new update, though not everyone seems happy about it.
GTA V’s immensely popular GTA Online mode has seen significant transformation since launch. Recently, Rockstar Games has made concerted efforts to include high-quality story content that revives classic characters – something you won’t get from its single player mode alone! Sorry.
Unfortunately, Rockstar Games announced in its recent update for GTA Online has come off badly: vehicle prices would increase significantly with some vehicles seeing sudden and drastic jumps.
Devs announced in an April 27 update via Rockstar Newswire, they’ll be altering vehicle pricing in an effort to more accurately reflect actual car values in-game; some vehicles’ costs could drop while other may increase by almost 1000%!
Rockstar insider Tez2 shared an image displaying forthcoming price changes via Twitter, prompting many players to object quickly.
With some welcome changes being implemented, many were quick to call attention to a price increase on Pegassi Opressor MkII vehicle from just under $3 Million up to $8 Million; an amount which even in-game currency wouldn’t support.
“If the MkII were necessary in producing 8mil then perhaps not its price needs adjusting,” one user suggested.
“Everyone who desires one already owns it,” another person claimed of the MkII.
Remember, GTA Online pricing changes don’t take effect until April 27. Before then, take full advantage of your time playing GTA Online to take advantage of any deals before the increase takes place!
