About Hatred
Destructive Creations released Hatred, an isometric shoot ’em-up video game on Microsoft Windows on June 1, 2015. The player-character is a mass murderer who “hates the world and the human worms that feast on its carcass” and embarks upon a “genocide campaign against the whole human race.” The player can drive a vehicle and carry three weapons. Summary executions are performed on incapacitated persons to restore health. The moves used to kill these victims require cinematic switching of camera perspectives. The level is reset completely if the player dies unless the player has completed side-quests that offer a limited number of respawn points. Voice acting for the character is kept to a minimum. His ideology and motivations are left open for interpretation.
