Here’s where we’ll explain everything that’s changing and added with League of Legends patch 12.11.

LoL, patch 12.11 is making its way to the PBE for the usual round of testing, which lasts two weeks. A look at its patch notes reveals its release date alongside the addition of new champion Bel’Veth, Ocean Song skins, and more.

Riot Games pushes out regular updates for its popular MOBA, so its patch schedule is necessary to keep track of when the next one’s due out. The LoL patch 12.11 release date is set for Wednesday, June 8, when the changes that make it through testing hit live servers.

League of Legends Patch 12.11

On the PBE, players can try out the following 7 new skins: Ocean Song Ashe, Ocean Song Nidalee, Ocean Song Seraphine, Ocean Song Seraphine Prestige Edition, and Ocean Song Yone (1350 RP), Ocean Song Zeri, and Battle Boss Bel’Veth.

The LoL 12.11 maintenance schedule is always revealed closer to launch. Usually, it takes about 3 hours for patches to be deployed across different regions. Checking our League of Legends Server Status article is an excellent way to inform yourself of server downtime caused by patch deployment or other reasons.

Bel’Veth, the Empress of the Void

League 12.11 also introduces Bel’Veth, the Empress of the Void, as the MOBA’s newest champion. With the patch now on the PBE, we also look at her stats and abilities, as spotted by Surrender at 20.

Abilities

Death in Lavender (Passive):

  • After using an ability, Bel’Veth’s subsequent 2 attacks have increased attack speed. Additionally, whenever Bel’veth takes down a giant monster or champion, she gains permanent bonus Attack speed in the form of Lavender stacks. Bel’Veth attacks faster than average and does not have an attack speed cap. However, her attacks and on-hit effects deal reduced damage, and she does not gain attack speed on level up.

Void Surge (Q):

  • Bel’Veth dashes in one of four directions, dealing damage to all enemies she passes through and applying on-hit effects. Each direction has its unique cooldown that scales with attack speed.

Above and Below (W):

  • Bel’Veth slams her tail down, dealing damage, knocking up, and slowing enemies hit. Upon hitting an enemy champion, this ability reduces Q – Void Surge’s dash cooldown in the direction of the champion hit.

Royal Maelstrom (E):

  • Bel’Veth channels a storm of slashes around her, gaining damage reduction and increased life steal. Each slash strikes the lowest health enemy within her Maelstrom, dealing more damage the more health they are missing. The amount of slashes scales with her attack speed.

R – Endless Banquet:

  • Passive: Every second attack against the same target deals additional True Damage, stacking infinitely. Takedowns against Epic Monsters and Champions leave behind a piece of Void Coral. Epic Monsters from the Void like Rift Herald and Baron Nashor drop unique, voider Void Coral.
  • Active: Bel’veth consumes a piece of Void Coral and explodes, slowing and dealing True Damage to nearby enemies based on their missing health. Upon consuming Void Coral, Bel’Veth temporarily changes into her True Form. Consuming Void Coral left by Epic Monsters from the Void (Rift Herald and Baron Nashor) grants Bel’Veth her proper form for an extended duration. It causes minions that die in her presence to be reborn as faithful Voidlings. Voidlings are small minions that will serve Bel’Veth by marching down the lane where they were spawned.
  • Proper Form: When Bel’Veth unleashes her True Form, she gains increased max health, out-of-combat move speed, attack range, and full attack speed. While in her True Form, she also gains the ability to dash through walls with Q – Void Surge.

Alongside the balance changes meant to come in League of Legends patch 12.11, a hotfix for the previous patch is planned to go live sooner; promising nerfs for the likes of Taliyah and Anivia alongside buffs for Yuumi, Kled, and others.

The League 12.11 patch preview is now live, announcing another extensive set of changes for multiple items and champions, including Duskblade, Riftmaker, Xin Zhao, Aphelios, Rengar, etc.

Zero is also in line to receive several buffs to damage and cooldowns at the cost of mobility and utility.

Aphelion – Buffed

The Hitman and the Seer (Passive):

  • Bonus attack speed increased to 8-45% from 6-36%
  • Lethality increased to 5.5-33 from 4.5-27

Brand – Nerfed

Blaze (Passive):

  • Ablaze explosion damage decreased to 8-12% from 10-14%
  • Ablaze DoT decreased to 2.5% max health from 3% max health

Caitlyn – Changed

Piltover Peacemaker (Q):

  • AD ratio changed to 125/145/165/185/205% from 130/145/160/175/190%
  • Mana cost changed to 55/60/65/70/75 from 50/60/70/80/90

90 Caliber Net (E):

  • Base damage increased to 80/130/180/230/280 from 70/110/150/190/230
  • Cooldown decreased to 16/14/12/10/8 seconds from 16/14.5/13/11.5/10 seconds

Gragas – Buffed

Barrel Roll (Q):

  • Min AP ratio increased to 80% from 70%
  • Cooldown decreased from 10/9/8/7/6 seconds 11/10/9/8/7 seconds

Body Slam (E):

  • Cooldown decreased to 14/13.5/13/12.5/12 seconds from 16/15/14/13/12 seconds

Gwen – Nerfed

Hallowed Mist (W):

  • Armour & MR decreased to 12/14/16/18/20 from 20
  • Cooldown increased to 22/21/20/19/18 seconds from 22/20/18/16/14 seconds

Skip ‘n Slash (E):

  • Cooldown refund decreased to 50% from 60%

Irelia – Buffed

Bladesurge (Q):

    • The maximum stats threshold increased to 30% from 22.5%

Undertow (Q):

  • The minimum cooldown decreased to 2.5 seconds from 3 seconds

Tough It Out (W):
