Major League Baseball 2K11 (or MLB 2K11) is an MLB licensed simulation video game published and distributed by 2K Sports. The game features the same as Major League Baseball 2K10 but includes new content. The Dynamic Player Rating System (DPRS) is one of the new features. It updates a player’s ability with the last four weeks. This includes slumps and hot streaks. The DPRS only affects hitting and pitching. It will not impact a player’s ability to field. The DRPS will not be turned on, so players cannot play. However, trades won’t be affected by the DPRS as it is a short-term value. Franchise modes will reflect player value based on franchise stats and not real life. Similar improvements and modifications have been made to the My Player career mode.
