Moonfire Faire 2022 Starts Soon, Serves Up New Summer Outfits
The real world is experiencing summer (if you are in the northern hemisphere). It’s likely too hot in some places. It’s still cool inside Final Fantasy XIV. People are already coming together to host beach Parties and Conventions online. This allows you to relax and not worry about heat or pandemics. With a new Moonfire Faire event, the FFXIVteam will be helping to facilitate that.
This summer event encourages players to have fun in the sun every year. The reward for those who have a home is often brand-new swimwear or summer-themed furnishings. The Moonfire Faire’s 2022 will start at 1:00 AM PDT / 4:00 AM EDT and end at 8:59 PM PDT / 10 :59 AM EDT .
“A Matter of Course” is the new quest to kick off this event. It can be found in Mayara in Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks (X, 11.5, Y; 13.8). To participate in this quest, players must be at least level 30.
Moonfire Faire 2022: Rewards and Items
The Summer Sunset set or Summer Bonfire items will be awarded to you for completing the event quest. Below is a complete list of all the items:
- Summer Sunset Bandana
- Summer Sunset Beach Cover-Up
- Summer Sunset Wrist Torques
- Summer Sunset Bottoms
- Summer Sunset Sandals
- Summer Bonfire
Both men and women can wear the outfit, but the style of the outfit will vary depending on your gender. The top can be worn openly for male characters, while for female characters, it is open with a bikini top. The Summer Sunset Bottoms are a large set of pants for male characters. However, the Summer Sunset Bottoms for female characters come with a pair of black bikini shorts. Sorry ladies, we don’t have any poofy longs for you.
The event will end on August 26, so you won’t be able anymore to purchase the event attire. Many of these items have been put up by the FFXIVteam on the Online Store. There’s a current sale on the Online Store where you can get past Moonfire Attire attires and emotes at a discounted price! Moonfire Faire vendors will also have items from past events.
The action is focused on Patch 6.2, which will launch on August 23! The Producer will send a second live letter on August 12, and details about the patch are available on the Special Site. You have one last chance to grab the Archfiend Attire for PVP or participate in the Moogle Treasure Trove.
