Mortal Kombat X, a fighting game, was developed by NetherRealm Studios. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment publishes it. Two players can face each other locally or online, or one player can play against the CPU. First introduced in Mortal Kombat (2011), the energy meter allows players to perform special moves such as “X-Ray.”
Similar to Injustice: Gods Among Us’ predecessor title NetherRealm Studios, fighters can interact with the environment by using parts to reposition themselves or using objects as weapons. Each fighter can choose from three variations. The Scorpion character has a Ninjutsu variant that uses dual swords to give him special moves. Hellfire and Inferno versions allow him to summon hell-spawn minions for help in the fight.
