PlayStation 5 will get the ‘Syphon filter’ with all-new features
Bend Studio has confirmed the release of the cult-class Syphon filter on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 with an updated feature.
This PlayStation hidden treasure will be part of the PlayStation Plus premium next month. It will also be available with the full support of PlayStation Trophies!
“Agency Intel reports that Syphon Filter includes Trophies when it arrives with the all-new PlayStation Plus,” Bend Studio tweeted, along with footage of an “Explosive Start” unlocking Trophy.
This could mean that every classic PS1, PS2 and PS1 game will be able to unlock new Trophies. It is more likely that it will be case-by-case. It’s no surprise that Bend Studio is the first PlayStation Studio.
We have never had to give up the Syphon filter but now we have a new reason to go back to the great shooter.
Syphon filter isn’t enough to convince you to invest in PS Plus Premium (which it totally is), but the good news is, that Sony has confirmed that many classic PlayStation, PS2, or PSP titles will be available for purchase separately via the PlayStation Store.
Even better, if you already have any of the PS3 or PSP digital games, you can download them and play them for free.
