Pokemon Scarlet & Violet’s Grafaiai are Ugly as Sin, and I Love Him
Game Freak and The Pokemon Company teased a new character in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet earlier this week. While fans speculated that it might be a regional version of Smeargle due to the painting-based tease, it turned out it was about an entirely new Pokemon. Graffiti is now revealed, and it’s horrendous. It’s beautiful.
The Pokemon Company released two trailers. One is a nature documentary that focuses on Grafaiai and its behavior. It primarily focuses on Grafaiai, leaving marks on trees with saliva. It’s always interesting to see how the Pokemon series deals with the “discovery” of a new creature. We don’t get enough time to look at Pokemonecosystems as much as we do catching them. This was a great video that you can see right here.
A trailer was shown that Grafaiai, the character appearing in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, was seen. It seems they will be marking the same trees as you see in-game. It’s been said that the character is territorial, so it’s not surprising they’d be found almost exclusively around their marked trees. Graffiti are nocturnal, according to the official website. This means that you will likely only be able to catch them at night.

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet will be coming to Switch on November 18th. They will be the first open-world, traditionally open-world games in the series. They will also be cooperative, so we can finally go on a Pokemon adventure with our friends as we had hoped for when we were kids.
