The main storyline that takes place in Resident Evil: Revelations 2 is set during the same time as events that are narrated within Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6. Claire Redfield quietly attends a celebration hosted by the charitable group “Terra Save” when armed people attack guests and abduct her along with Moira Burton, the daughter of Barry Burton 2 .
Claire and Moira awake in a prison that has been abandoned without even a trace of where they went. In the meantime, Barry Burton decides to look for Moira when he discovers his existence on an unknown island. When he arrives on the island, Barry Burton encounters Natalia Korda, a strange small girl who is the person he relies on for his research.
The announcement was made during the Tokyo Game Show 2014 during the convention Sony 3. In December 2014, a trailer revealed the existence of Barry Burton as a playable role-playing character.
Revelations 2 is the first game under the license that will be released in episodic format five. The game is split into four parts; each chapter will be released in a separate timeframe between February 25, 2015, and March 18, 2015, in digital only. It will be released after that, it is entirely in physical edition on March 20, 2015.
