SimCity 2000:
SimCity 2000, a simulation game for city building, is the second installment of the SimCity series. SimCity’s unexpected and lasting success, coupled with its relative failure with other Sim titles, prompted the creation of a sequel. SimCity 2000 was an important extension of the original concept.
The SimCity 2000 concept now features a near-isometric, dimetric view. Instead of an overhead view, the land can have different elevations. Underground layers were also introduced to allow for underground water pipes and subways.
