Skyrim DLC-sized quest mod ‘There Is No Umbra’ now features an engaging third chapter. Choose your path through it!
Modders have taken great pains in making sure Skyrim continues to evolve and expand since its initial launch into the world.
Many have attempted to transform the game by adding unmarked locations, new movement animations, and tougher bandits – some even giving you the chance to wear butterfly wings or become high priest of their own temple!
If your Dragonborn has found themselves disenthused about adventure, and is in need of something engaging to motivate their return, consider adding one or more massive new mods into their load order as potential solutions.

This quest mod, known as ‘There is No Umbra – Chapter III’, was produced by a collective of modders and voice actors led by Fableforge. As well as producing two earlier chapters which can be found here and here respectively, their efforts also added some flair to melee attacks within the game itself.
Now, the team behind both parts of “There Is No Umbra” have released part three – as an independent mod incorporating both of the already released chapters to form one questline if starting fresh! This standalone mod will include everything needed if starting over from scratch!
Inside Chapter 3 content you’ll discover several fully voice acted quests – as seen in the trailer below – which continue the story of Daumbra, “the latest embodiment” of Clavicus Vile’s Daedric artifact Umbra featured in Oblivion but now also accessible via Skyrim Creation Club.
Missions will force you to make many difficult and impactful choices, according to Fableforge: “There are numerous major choices within this mod, with multiple endings so no two people experience its story exactly alike.
Reward yourself with cool rewards to make all of the thinking worthwhile – such as special abilities that allow you to do things such as change bodies and teleport enemies away from yourself as well as steal weapons from them!
