Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has an install size of over 150GB! My god!
Are you eagerly awaiting Star Wars Jedi: Survivor? Make sure that your storage space is ample as this game requires a substantial amount of storage space. Be warned: this thing is huge!
Jedi: Survivor looks set to be an amazing game. GAMINGbible’s own Will McCue has already played it and commented that it “plays like a better version of Jedi: Fallen Order”. In his preview, Will noted that there’s now a fast travel system so players won’t have to spend ages finding their way back to their ship for story progress (except during Zeffo Ice Caves!). Additionally, players can customise Cal’s movement more efficiently now; plus the Holomap has been improved too – big wins all around!
Jedi: Survivor looks like the PS5 version will be the ideal way to play it. Game director Stig Asmussen recently confirmed that this title makes full use of DualSense’s haptics – especially when using the Force to push or pull objects.
However, these major improvements come at the cost of huge storage requirements. According to GamesRadar+, the PC version of the game will take up 155GB – that’s almost triple its predecessor Fallen Order’s 55GB file size on PC!
At present, it is unclear what the file sizes will be on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, but if this trend holds true then you might want to start clearing away your installed games now. Get that one game out of your backlog so that it can finally be deleted – admit it, we all have one!
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is set for release on April 28th on PC and new-gen consoles – so there’s not much longer to wait!
