Following the announcement of co-op First-person shooter Killing Floor 3 through Gamescom in 2023’s Opening Night Live event, the developer and publisher Tripwire Interactive has now shared an interview with the audience about the horror-themed body images of the trailer for its horrific announcement.

The story is set in the near future, and with a significant amount of dystopia incorporated into its setting, Killing Floor 3 is “a little darker and a bit more serious, and a less intense,” according to Creative Director Bryan Wynia.

The game’s creators came up with a fresh idea of the famous Fleshpound monsters players have to face in the game, with the goal of creating “something which evoked a sense of horror in the body” but with no emotion associated with it, considering its nature as a “designed to be a biomechanical, mechanical killing machine. ”

In the clip below, Wynia and members of Hydra Studios provide details about how they went about it in creating the sequel’s official trailer to announce the sequel.

While the game’s creator has yet to fully discuss the gameplay of the game however, we know it places us in the shoes as the Nightfall expert.

The ability to join five players, we’ll be able to “battle the waves of Zeds make dosh, develop abilities, and create the most powerful arsenal” when the title goes live.
