Trainz: A New Era goes beyond a simulator train. The Platinum Edition Bundle includes hundreds of locos, dozens of routes, and many sessions. Trainz is more than just the included content.

There are many other things you can do with Trainz beyond what’s built-in. You have all the tools you need to build your railroad. In fact, every route in Trainz was created by customers like you.

You can now download over 10,000 routes from the Trainz Download Station (DLS), and start enjoying them. People will tell you to buy lots of DLC, but they don’t have to. There are plenty of high-quality free routes and content on the DLS.

How to Download and Install Trainz: A New Era

Once Trainz: A New Era has finished downloading, mount the file and run the game setup.

Open and edit user data-redirect-map.txt inside this folder: UsersYOURUSERNAMEAppDataLocalN3V GamesTANE

Run the game setup inside the extracted folder and install the game.
