Trepang2 Shoots Its Way onto PC This June!
Trepang Studios and Team17 have announced that their highly anticipated first person shooter, Trepang2, is set for PC release on June 21st! You can preorder it right now on Steam! To celebrate this exciting announcement, Team17 have uploaded a brand new trailer onto their YouTube channel which you can view at the top of the page.
Trepang2, a throwback to mid-2000s first person shooters such as F.E.A.R, is an intense shooter packed with incredible guns, superpowers and melee combat that rivals some beat ’em ups. As a newly enhanced super soldier with no memories after being broken out of a blacksite by mysterious allies, your mission is simple: take on your captors head-on while surviving an onslaught of armed goons and otherworldly foes while taking down every last one in sight!
Trepang2’s gunfights are certainly impressive, but its use of powers will truly set it apart from other first person shooters available today. Just by looking at the trailer alone, we can see that its protagonist possesses incredible speed and power; she can dropkick people with ease or pick them up and throw them around the room with ease. Plus, invisibility is also included which could make for some amazing stealth takedowns – making Trepang2 one of the best shooters of the entire year!
Now, let’s just hope it gets approved for Steam Deck inclusion!
