About Warriors Orochi 3
Warriors Orochi 3 was originally released in Japan as Muso Orochi 2 (Wu Shuang Orochi 2 Muso Orochi Tsu). It is a hack-and-slash video game that Omega Force and Tecmo Koei developed for the PlayStation 3 & Xbox 360. Warriors, Orochi 3’s gameplay is very similar to the games from which Warriors Orochi 3 draws its characters, namely Dynasty Warriors 7 and Samurai Warriors 7. The characters from these series are similar to their source games but there have been a few changes to bring them together.

- Dynasty Warriors characters can only be equipped with one weapon and cannot switch between them. However, each character’s EX weapon is the one they are given. Characters who change their EX weapons after Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires, which was released after Warriors Orochi 3 but before Ultimate), can keep their old EX weapons and not switch to their new EX weapon in Ultimate.
- Dynasty Warriors characters can only use one Musou attack. Dynasty Warriors 7 characters with both an aerial and a ground Musou attack retain their ground Musou attack. Characters with two ground Musou attacks can keep either one of them as their Musou attack.
