Zack Snyder Releases New Knightmare Teaser Image For Justice League

Director Zack Snyder has shared the following picture promoting his forthcoming four-hour recut of 2017’s Justice League. The picture shows a black and white picture from Ben Affleck’s Batman’s rear, which is called his”Knightmare” costume. Overtop of this picture is that the hashtag #ZACKSNYDERSJUSTICELEAGUE followed by yet another hashtag, #SNYDERCUT, under it. The manager also contained the very simple caption: “Ok.”

Fans may recognize this version of Batman out of 2016’s Batman v Superman: Morning of Justice. In that movie, Bruce Wayne, a.k.a. Batman, has what initially sounds like a terrible dream, but might, in reality, be a haunting vision of their near future. In what has been known as”The Knightmare Sequence,” Batman is seen leading an insurgency against Superman’s (Henry Cavill) wicked regime in what resembles a bare, apocalyptic future. Batman and his insurgency are observed fighting against black-clad soldiers who bare the Superman emblem, in addition to an army of winged creatures that suddenly makes a look. Batman is subsequently captured by Superman’s faces and forces the powerful Kryptonian, who determines to used some fairly extreme”enhanced interrogation” methods against Batman’s soldiers.

The sequence ends with Superman declaring,” she had been my entire world, and you took her from me,” before apparently shoving his hands through Batman’s torso. Bruce Wayne then wakes up out of your nightmare just to then be seen with The Flash (Ezra Miller) in the future, who awakens with Bruce to obtain the other members of the Justice League and reassures him that he’s about Superman, before evaporating in a flurry of power before Bruce’s eyes. Batman utilizes this “Knightmare” as additional justification for why he should not trust Superman and finally contributes to their own struggle later in the film.

After the movie Launched in 2016, this series left many audience members perplexed regarding what they just watched. Was this true? Why were there flying stunt creatures? However, for lovers of DC comics, they’d probably recognize the winged creatures as Parademons, the alien foot soldiers of DC supervillain and ruler of the planet Apokolips, Darkseid. This arrangement was originally setting things up to come in what, at the moment, are the next movie for its DCEU, Justice League.

But, 2017′ s Justice League Either cut or didn’t include any scenes between this particular sequence, nor did it contain Batman dawning the earthy tone trench coat found from the photograph. It is clear from the manager’s tease that Snyder will likely be creating more of an attempt to connect both of these movies and perhaps provide more insight to the”Knightmare” series. This might also indicate a more powerful link to Darkseid, who’s presently restricted to be looking in the newest Zack Snyder’s Justice League.

Does this prove The Knightmare sequence will come to fruition? Can Superman turn bad after viewing what he looked like using a digitally eliminated mustache? Or does this picture imply that Batman has another vision of their near future?
