Apex Legends Sun Squad Guide: Earn Event Points!
We’ve officially reached the halfway point in Season 16 in Apex Legends, which means it’s time for a new event called “Sun Squad.” This one promises relaxation and some beach fun with your favorite legends. Of course, Sun Squad also introduces an all-new game mode, cosmetics, and another heirloom – this time Ash will get one called the “Strongest Link,” consisting of electrified nunchucks! Additionally, players can unlock rewards free by simply playing the game – here’s how:
Learning How to Acquire Apex Legends Sun Squad Points
Earn points during the Sun Squad event by completing Daily Event Challenges located in the Challenge Menu. These tasks vary daily and typically involve getting into the Top 10, dealing damage, or playing the game itself. Plus, some of these challenges will be tied into limited-time mode Heatwave for added excitement!
Every challenge you complete will earn you 200 Points, so if you complete all challenges – including any additional ones – that’s 1,600 Points per day. To earn everything this season, however, you need a maximum of 5,000 points; that means completing 25 challenges (excluding damage ones) will net you that amount. Plus, there’s likely that some challenges for Heatwave will appear as part of this exciting event mode!
Apex Legends Sun Squad Points –
Remember, Sun Squad points aren’t earned through regular kills, winning games of Apex Legends or completing battle pass challenges. The only way to earn them is by completing Sun Squad event challenges each day you log on. These are the only items you can earn free of charge; for those willing to part with some cash, Ash’s heirloom and many beach-themed skins are available; however these costs are quite high if you don’t already possess the heirloom shards (approximately $160 USD).
The Apex Legends Sun Squad event is now available across all available platforms.
